What we do
Brands Halo LLC is an independent app studio. We design, build, and publish our own mobile applications. We are not an agency, and we do not build software to order for other companies.
Our first app is RISN, a Bible app built around the first few minutes of the morning. Most reading apps are organised like a feed; RISN is organised like a ritual. It opens on a short routine: a verse, a devotional, and a moment to pray. Then it gets out of the way.
How we think about the work
A daily habit app only earns its place if it respects the person using it. That belief produced a few constraints we hold to even where they cost us money:
- Scripture is never paywalled. The Bible is free in RISN, permanently. We don't put a subscription in front of Scripture or prayer.
- Nobody is priced out. If the subscription is out of reach, we give it away on request, with no means test and no explanation required.
- Never in a hard moment. We don't put an upgrade prompt in front of someone who is grieving, anxious, or in crisis.
